  1. How much does a divorce cost?
  2. If you hire an attorney to handle your case, the cost to obtain an absolute divorce (including the filing fees) can run from approximately $650-$1,000. However, the cost to draft and negotiate a Separation Agreement can run from $2,500-$10,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the case. If you choose the mediation or collaborative law process, the cost can run from $5,000-$15,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the case. If you go to court to litigate an issue instead of settling any of the matters with an agreement, it can be quite expensive. Total litigation costs can run around $10,000-$50,000 or more, again, depending on the complexity of the case.
  1. How can I pay for my consultation or attorney fees?
  2. You can pay with cash, check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
  1. I need to schedule an appointment to figure out what to do. What is the cost?
  2. It depends on what type of case you have. If it is a simple uncontested divorce, there is no consult fee. If it involves a criminal, traffic or estate matter, there is no consult fee. However, there is a consult fee for most civil and domestic cases, so please call our office for a consult quote for your situation.
